Welcome to the unofficial website of the Cloud Museum, located in Bard, California just outside of Yuma, Arizona. The items displayed in this museum are part of the personal collection of Johnny Cloud. Johnny Cloud has been collecting Ford Model T and other items for 18 years (as of 2007). The Museum features approx 90 vehicles including Ford Model T’s, Fordson Tractors and other related vehicles. The collection also includes many small vintage items such as tools and approximately 350-400 wooden spoke Model T wheels. The display includes and old Gas Station complete with vintage gas pumps and an incredibly old Motor Home. The rarest and restored vehicles are kept under lock and key in onsite buildings; this includes a Chevrolet truck that is believed to be 1 of 6 that still exist. Johnny Cloud doesn’t know about this website. So if you tell him you found out about his Museum from his website he won’t know what you are talking about. My grandma lives just a couple streets over and I have visited the museum many times. The museum is a fantastic place and the stories and history that Johnny will share will amaze you. Nothing is for sale at the Museum, just memories and photo opportunities. Admission to this priceless display of vintage tin will cost you a mere $5. The museum is generally only open in the winter months due to very hot weather and lack of tourists in the summer. If you happen to be passing through Yuma in the summer, there is a chance that Johnny will be there and he tends to open the gates for any interested person. He’s usually working near his shop on the North side of the property. If any of the information above is inaccurate please contact me here and let me know. Or if you have a story from your visit to the Cloud Museum you would like to share, please contact me as well. Thanks for visiting this site and happy viewing. |
